Support for an array of ME department priorities at the discretion of the department chair.

Support for ME students experiencing unexpected financial hardships.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Fund in Mechanical Engineering
Support for ME initiatives aimed at making the department accessible and welcoming for people from all backgrounds, especially those from groups underrepresented in the field of mechanical engineering.
- Health Technology Innovation Fund
Support for research, teaching and student experiential learning activities that advance the innovation, development and commercialization of technologies to enhance human health.
